Privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

This policy explains what data Freelance Numbers ("we") handles when you use this website.

The short version

  • No accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising trackers.
  • The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or anyone else.
  • We don't set cookies.

Data stored in your browser

To save you retyping, the calculators keep your latest inputs in your browser's localStorage on your device, under keys starting with fn_. We can't read this data. You can delete it with the "Reset to example" button on each tool, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may automatically log technical request data, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, for security and operations. These logs are handled under the hosting provider's own privacy policy. We don't use them to identify individual visitors.

Analytics

We currently use no analytics service. If we add one, we'll choose a privacy-friendly option, list it here, and update the date above.

Links to other sites

Product links go to Gumroad, where purchases are processed. Source links go to government and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don't control the data they collect.

Children

This site is intended for adults and doesn't knowingly collect any data from children.

Your rights and contact

Because we don't collect personal data through this site, there's usually nothing for us to access or delete. If you have a question, contact us via the Gumroad store page.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date.
