Privacy Policy — Fee & Profit Calculator for Etsy Sellers
This browser extension ("the extension") helps Etsy sellers estimate fees and profit. This policy explains what data it handles.
What the extension stores
- The numbers you type (prices, costs, labor time, rates), your fee-rate settings, and any products you save.
- This data is stored only in your browser using the browser's local extension storage (
chrome.storage.local). It is never sent to us or to anyone else. - Uninstalling the extension deletes this data. You can also delete saved products at any time.
What leaves your browser
- Only if you activate a Pro license: the license key you enter and the product ID are sent to Gumroad's license verification API (
https://api.gumroad.com/v2/licenses/verify) to confirm the purchase. The check is repeated about once a week. Gumroad processes this under its own privacy policy: https://gumroad.com/privacy - Nothing else is transmitted. The extension does not read the pages you visit, and has no access to your Etsy account.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking, cookies, fingerprinting or advertising.
- No sale or sharing of data with third parties.
- No remote code: all code ships inside the extension package.
Permissions
storage— to save your settings and products in your browser.- No host permissions and no content scripts.
Children
The extension is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new date. Any change to what data leaves your browser will be shown in the extension before it takes effect.
